I am a qualified driving instructor (ADI) working with the team at Belt Up Driving School.

I qualified as a driving instructor in 2024. Previously I worked in education for around 20 years, with 18 of those spent teaching 14-20 year olds. Through this I have developed a large toolkit of teaching skills, which has supported me in my new role as a driving instructor.

I absolutely LOVE my new career! It has allowed me to focus on what I enjoy most - teaching! It is so rewarding taking a student from ‘ground zero’ right through to seeing them pass their test. I feel privileged to be able to equip people with this life skill, whilst also supporting safer roads for the future.

I have a lot of experience in teaching neurodiverse students, those with disabilities and people who are nervous or anxious. I pride myself on providing a calm and welcoming learning environment,with my lessons always being student centered - whereby I adapt all lessons to suit the needs of the learner.

I teach in an Automatic BMW 1 series, Shadow edition.
