Extra time will need to be allowed for the instructor to take all additional precautions.
The instructor and pupil must wear suitable clothing providing as much covering as reasonable. Short sleeved shirts can be worn. If you wear glasses and a face covering, you should make sure that your glasses do not fog up. Where issues arise with this on your lesson we may offer the use of a face shield on a chargeable basis. This would then be taken with you at the end of the lesson, these can be cleaned ready for the next lesson.
You should:
Wash your hands or use anit-bacterial hand santiser and put a face covering on before entering the car
Put the face covering on ensuring you cover our mouth and nose, making sure there are no gaps between your face and the covering.
avoid touching the covering while using it
avoid touching your face with your hands
You may choose to wear gloves. If you do, you should wear them as soon as your face covering is fitted and for the duration of the lesson.
Pupils MUST wear a face covering, unless there are exceptional circumstances which MUST have been pre-notified and agreed. If the pupil does not have a face covering the instructor may provide one on a chargeable basis.
The vehicle must be cleaned prior to your lesson and after your lesson. Use ani-viral wipe to clean all touch points within and outside of the car. Dispose of wipe into a bag and seal.
At the end of your lesson do not remove your face covering until you have exited the car.
